ADVISORY APPLICATION

Begin with the advisory application.

Every advisory engagement begins with a brief application to understand the individual or organization seeking guidance, the challenge being addressed, and whether strategic advisory is the appropriate next step.

Whether you are navigating an executive decision, an organizational challenge, a leadership transition, or questions surrounding technology and governance, the application helps establish the nature of the engagement and clarify its objectives.

This is not a checkout process or a sales form. It is an initial step in determining whether an advisory relationship would be valuable and appropriate.

Estimated time to complete: 10–12 minutes

Before you begin

Please answer clearly and directly.

There is no need to overstate the situation or make the application sound more complex than it is. The purpose is to understand the decision, challenge, transition, or organizational issue prompting your inquiry.

Applications may be submitted by individuals seeking strategic guidance or by representatives of businesses, leadership teams, nonprofit organizations, and public entities.

You do not need to have a fully developed project scope before applying. A clear understanding of the situation and the outcome you are seeking is sufficient to begin the conversation.

If the engagement appears to be a strong fit, I will follow up with recommended next steps. If another approach is more appropriate, I will communicate that directly.

Your title, organization, business, or current professional context.
Primary Area of Focus
Briefly describe the situation and why advisory support is being considered.
Focus on the decision itself — not your full backstory.
Consider competing priorities, uncertainty, organizational constraints, available resources, or the consequences of different decisions.
Describe any previous discussions, internal efforts, assessments, or outside assistance.
Describe what greater clarity, stronger structure, or an effective resolution would look like.
Are you authorized to explore advisory services on behalf of the organization?
What is your role in evaluating or approving advisory services?
Are you open to recommendations if another approach appears to be a better fit?
I understand advisory engagements typically begin at $5,000 and are customized based on scope and complexity

Submitting an application does not guarantee an engagement. Scope, fit, and next steps are determined after review.
